Ghost Rider ran from 1973 until 1983, but first appeared in Marvel Spotlight in 1972. The Issues ran from #1 to #81.
Johnny Blaze was a motorcycle stunt performer in a traveling circus. In order to save the life of his stepfather, Crash Simpson, Johhny sold his soul to who he believes was Satan - the Devil - but who actually was the demon Mephisto. Blaze’s soul was bound with the demon Zarathos and transformed into a skeleton who wore black leather suit of clothes. Ghost Rider’s head was also cloaked in a sheath of flame.
Some of Ghost Rider’s enemies were: Aqueduct - Blackheart - Blackout - Centurious - Death Ninja - Death Watch - Lilith - Nightmare - Orb - Sin - Eater - Scarecrow - Snowblind - Tatterdemalion - Zodiak.
NOTE: I acquired these comics in early 2003 from the estate of a handicapped collector who purchased every issue from the newstand. Included in this group are the following comics followed by the condition. All books have been boarded and bagged by us. There were well over 5000 comics in the collection. There are 70 comic books included in this sale.
