INCLUDED: One (1) GOOD+ condition TOPPS album. This has been stored for many decades, displays nicely and is 100% original.
In 1969 Topps issued a stamp album for each of the 16 NFL and 10 AFL teams. Each 8 page stamp album had room for 10 stamps, 8 players on pages 2, 3, 6 & 7 and 2 STARS in the center-fold pages 4 & 5.
This set is also called a 4-in-1 or Four-in-One because the stamps, which are acually made of card board with a gum backing, came on small sheets of 4. A complete set consists of 266 total players.
There were a total of sixty six (66) 4-in-1 sheets/cards each measuring 3 ½” tall by 2 ½” wide. These sheets were inserted into the actual 1969 Topps football card set. Each of the 66 sheets/cards contained a different group of 4 players. Nineteen (19) of the players represented on the stamps were not part of the regular set and 247 of the players were part of the regular set.
